The car runs great, but on occasion in the past week the car has failed to turn on. I'm sure to have my foot all the way down on the clutch when I turn the ignition, but when I turn the key there is silence. The engine doesn't even turn. The electrical part of the dash board and lights all turn on. When this problem occurs I have to turn the ignition back off and then on and the car starts. Do you think I might need to replace the starter? I will greatly appreciate your advice. Thanks.......

Hi there,

What you described seems like a problem with the ignition switch and not the starter.
