Hello,
I have a 1999 Honda Prelude H22A4 with 98,000 miles, Auto, 2 Wheel Drive. The other day I was driving my car and it was pouring out! I couldn't help it, but I had to go through some small puddles.... On this same day while driving through the rain it seemed like my car wasn't getting any power (or gas to my injectors) but after a couple of minutes the car drove fine.

After about a month later on another rainy day I had the same problem but this time my check engine light came on... I was going to buy a code scanner indicator, but I can't find my diagnostic connector under my dash to check for my codes.

Can ya'll please help me...

1. Where to locate my diagnostic connector...
2.Could it be my EGR valve or oxygen sensor, or if not what could it be...

Thanks for your time!

It should be under the dash and if there is an ash tray it will be behind that.

I would venture a guess that the computer will tell you about an engine misfire. You might consider replacing the distributor cap and gasket. You might also consider replacing the plug wires. Under those circumstances of water, it is a good idea to check the air filter to be sure it is not wet or water is not setting in the breather system.
