1999 Honda Prelude Changing the transmission

Transmission problem
1999 Honda Prelude 4 cyl Automatic 112000 miles

Could someone tell me what has to be done to change a transmission. and is it hard to do.

Hi PMACKELL,

To replace the transmission, you need to remove the CV shafts, starter motor and all the parts nearby or obstructing the trans.

Book time for repair would be around 5 or 6 hours depending on the model.

It is not a job for a novice.
