In replacing the signal assembly do I need special tools? Is it a do it yourself project? I am mechanically inclined.

Hi cccoolidge,

You need torx bits to remove the airbag. Others are normal tools for removing the steering wheel and screwdriver.

Care has to be taken when handling airbags and if you are not trained for it, I would not recommend DIY.
