1998 Honda Prelude high temp gauge

I recently bought the prelude for 950 and the tempeture gauge keeps rising and falling, iv got the fans tested and they are fine, the sensors are working correctly. The temp rises close to the red but always comes back down, or if I turn the heat on it comes down quicker. Apart from this the car is going like a dream. Do u have any idea if its a big problem or if I can fix this. Thanks

I owned a car once that did this and what it is, is there is air in your coolant lines which makes your temp gauge rise up and fall to fix this you need to bleed all the air out of the coolant system also check for leaks to make sure air has no way of getting in your coolant system after you bleed it
