1997 Honda Prelude 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

ran out of oil while driving. Car engine light came on, oil light came on and car stopped. Was able to put 4 quarts of oil in and car started back up bu engine light still on. How bad could the damage be?

hi,
the check engine light will need to be cleared useing a code READ/SCAN tool. As for the damage its hard to say does your engine make any new noise's or run any different?
