I have a stock crankshaft and aftermarket pistons and rods. The stock rods all have different color codes. The aftermarket rods say use all green code bearings. Is this correct.

Hi gino64,

If you want to get the most accurate color codes, you need to use plastigage to measure the clearance to determine if it is correct.

Since it is after market conrods, ( what was wrong with the original rods), it most probably won't be as accurate. Marks are punched on the crankshaft and conrods their combination determines the color codes of the bearings.
