I have this car and it was running just fine, but about a week ago I pushed the clutch pedal all the way to the floor while driving into my slightly uphill driveway. It went almost to the floor and then actually to the floor and it stayed there. I have not driven it since. There was a small puddle leak on the passenger side of the engine compartment. My husband said the clutch fluid was empty and he added more to the fill line. Can't see anymore leak on the car or on the ground. Now the pedal will not stay up except for the spring loaded spring that holds it in place. We have tried bleeding the line, no success. Guy I bought this from said he had the clutch recently replaced. Not sure what to do for this. Any suggestions?

Hi Knottydude,

When leaks are noticed, you should check where it is coming from. It most probably is coming from the slave cylinder or the damper attached to the frame mounted on the wheel house.

When doing bleeding, did you manually lift the pedal and were you able to get some pressure?
