i bought a brand new battery but may car keeps dying i took out my alternator and took it to autozone they tested it and said it still good but my car will not stay charged what could it be

Hi ronniesto,

With engine running, test the voltage at alternator main mast and battery terminals. Should be between 13.5 to 15 v.

If there is abnormal noise from the crankpulley, it could be faulty thus not working the alternator efficiently.

Check for blown fuses in main fuse box under hood.
