I was driving down the road at 45 miles an hour and my spedometer all of a sudden fell to zero. Do you have any idea whats wrong? also could that cause the check engine light to come on

Hi there,

If the engine check light has come on there is a fault code in the ECU, you must get this scanned as the code will be an indication to what has gone wrong, start here.
