My wife was driving our Prelude and when she stepped on the clutch it went in and stayed on the floor board.

1. Is the clutch in the 95 'Lude hydraulic or cable?

2. Is this something I can find in a salvage yard, or should I buy new? Yes, I plan on keeping the car.

3. Will this be a relatively easy task or should I leave it to the professionals? If it should be a professional, should I go to Honda or will any transmission shop be able to take care of me?

First you must find the reason the clutch pedal stayed on the floor. It is a hydralic clutch so check the clutch master cylinder. If the fluid is low find the fluid leak. The actuator may be bad. If the fluid is not low it could be the master cylinder itself.
Check the shift cable, it may have broken. I suggest buying new parts when it comes to the clutch.
