1994 Honda Prelude It wont go into reverse

My 94 Honda Prelude will not go into reverse, its a hydraulic clutch so then does that mean that there is no linkage that I can probably mess with to see if thats it. 1st through 5th works great so i didn't think it was the clutch. if anybody has any idea what it could be that would be great.

Hi there

Since you cannot get the reverse gear, there are 2 possibilities.

1, The gear shift linkage is showing too much lack.

2, The reverse safety mechanism is defective.
