I was racing a car and going about 140 and my fog lights tail lights and guage lights all went out at one. I checked all fuses and wires with test light, all fuses were hot, only headlight wire was hot coming out of the fuse panel. All fuses and relays good in the under hood fuse box. Replaced light switch and that was not the problem. I dont know what the problem is.

Hi tflo19,

Thank you for the donation.

All the lights mentioned gets its power from Fuse # 42 in underhood fuse box.

At combination switch, test for power supply to Red/Green wire with lights OFF.
Power must be available at Red/Black with switch turned ON.

Let me know what you find.

I found the #42 fuse was empty, I remember pulling #42 on the night all of it happend. It was blown. I just tried replacing it and every fuse I put in was blown immidiately (3 fuses). By combination switch do you mean light switch?

Yes, I meant the light switch.

If the fuse blows immediately once the switch is turned on, there is a shorting somewhere. It could be a bare wire, maybe due to abrasion or some external impact.

This is not going to be easy unless you have any damage area which you can check first.

Try unplugging the wireharness to rear from fuse box to test and isolate it fron front.

Fixed, it was the two bumper lights mounted on the side of the rear bumper, they were broken and corroded, I just clipped the wires, covered them and wallah, got my tail lights, fog lights and guage lights back. Thank you for all your help!
