I was switching heads on my 92 prelude si
Do I need to replace the head bolts with new ones or can I reuse the ones that I took out. I don't know how to tell if the bolts that were in the engine were stretch bolts or not or if they need to be replaced.
I have asked a few mechanics and I have received answers to replace them by some and not to replace them by some

Hi surelee,

The bolts are reuseable. Honda bolts are torqued to specs so they do not go bad. Only thing you need to note is that the bolt head is not damaged while removing.
