1992 Honda Prelude idleing high

i did a motor swap like 300 miles back, i just rececntly changed my egr valve and spraid my throttle with throttle cleaner. now my car is idleing at 2 thousand rpm and it is making my car to over heat. i tooked my tps sensor and it started to idle fine, but it started to smell. do you think that you can help me out.

Hi ricanbboy2,

Check the coolant level in radiator.
Check coolant hoses to IAC and FITV for clogging.
Check for vacumn leakages.

Is the CEL showing?
