I have a 1992 honda prelude si 2.3 Liter dohc engine, and automatic. My speedometer recently stopped working and my D4 light blinks while im driving, but my odometer and everything else works. Is this a problem with my speed sensor?

Hi bperson89, Thank you for the donation. The D4 blinking should be related to the VSS which is causing the speedometer to wrok erratically. Odometer may be cumulating but it is not accurate. To check if the D4 codes is from the VSS, bridge the SCS connector and turn ignition switch ON. If the D4 light flashes 4 times and stop, then repeat itself, it is the VSS code. If the Check engine light is flashing as well, it should be flashing 1 long and 7 short flashes (Code 17) indication an error with the VSS.
