I found out that my automatic transmission on my 91 prelude makes a rattling sound when put into drive and idling. It sounds like a bolt hitting a loose pan or metal panel. The noise goes away when put in reverse, neutral and in park. Another thing I noticed, while driving, the noise goes away when I turn to the right and comes back when going straight or gets a little worse when turning left. I looked under the hood to see anything obvious but nothing looks bad. Any ideas? Thank you.

Hi syphonfilter77,

I would suggest checking the engine mounts.
