I was just given a car by a family member and when I got the car, I tried to turn the heat on and nothing came out. No air is flowing out of the vent at all. No defrost, not at my feet, not anywhere. I would like to try and fix this myself if possible, but I'm not sure what needs to be fixed.

Hi cjbrakefield,

If the blower fan motor does not operate even at maximum speed, then you need to check the blower fuse in under dash fusebox.

Check for power supply to blower motor with ignition switch turned to ON, (Blue/White wire). If power is available. use a test lamp to ground the Blue/Black wire. If power is present and fan works, you need to check the fan speed resoitor and control switch.
