How do you take the alternator out of this car and replace it??

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Unplug the alternator connector from the alternator; remove the wire harness clip from the bracket. Remove the terminal nut; remove the wiring from the terminal. Loosen the through-bolt and the adjusting nut. Remove the alternator bolt, then remove the belt. Remove the through-bolt and remove the alternator.

Install the alternator in position and fit the through-bolt. Install the belt on the pulley, then install the alternator bolt. Make certain the alternator bolt engages the adjuster. Adjust the belt. Tighten the through-bolt to 33 ft. lbs. (45 Nm) and the alternator bolt to 18 ft. lbs. (25 Nm). Install the wiring on the terminal and secure the nut. Secure the wiring harness connector to the alternator. Connect the negative battery cable.
