i recently bought my honda.according to underhood
info it has a 5speed auto. is 5th the lockout of
the torque converter? it seems to have but 4 speeds
and at 60mph the engine tachs at 3000rpm.
please enlighten me

Hi royots,

The auto trans is 4 speed with lock up clutch for the torque converter. It has never been termed as a 5 speed.
