if the timing belt breaks will the valvles get bent or will the head get damaged

Valves will get bent and head have to be removed for repair

Some motors are interference,{Valve damage will occur}, & some motors are Non-Interference,{Valves will not get damaged}. Call local Honda Dealer, give them your V.I.N. # & ask them if they could give you the info. . { Parts Department } is who you would want to talk to. My 88 Prelude is a interference motor, but the T-Belt broke at idle, I knew enough not to re-start "cause I suspected the belt & no damage occured. Thats luck !
