I have a 1990 honda prelude 2.0 Si with 159,000mi. For the past year it has occasionally had trouble starting, but after a few tries it finally kicks over. Well today it didn't. I was told that the fuel pump finally gave out so I replaced it and the fuel filter. After everything was in place it still didn't start. Maybe it was just a bad pump or is there some kind of sensor that affect the pump?

After replacing the fuel pump can you determine if there is pressure at the rail where the injectors are located? If you have pressure, I would then look at the spark at a plug.
