Transmission problem
1989 Honda Prelude 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 200k miles

ive already replaced the clutch and taken it apart twice but each time i can drive about 4 blocks and then its like the gears slip or something but the shifting rod will still apear in gear and my foot off the clutch but it acts like its in neutral ok so would it make a difference if a small plastic nozzel cap fell in while filling up?

Hi lilwhites,

Check for a faulty clutch master cylinder or improper pedal free play. Inability of fluid return will cause self application of the clutch.
