Steering problem
1988 Honda Prelude 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

I changed my power steering pump on my car, I got damage like about 2 months ago I ranned the car with out fluid but I cut the belt, I just repair the pump and belt but it doesnt seem to work I already enter 3 bottles of fluid and the steering is still hard, I checked for fluid drain and there is nothing can someone help me. Thanks!

Hi alepe1184,

The powersteering system only contains slightly over 1 liters of fluid. If the fluid is low and you do not see any leaks, check the vehicle speed sensor.

Check the transmission fluid level, if it is too high, power steering fluid might be leaking into the trans via the speed sensor/meter gears.

After replacement of pumps and topping up fluids, you need to bleed the system by turning the steering from end to end a few times while running the engine.
