I am removing the starter from my 82 prelude. I removed the top bolt but I think the bottom bolt is cracked off or stuck. I can pull the starter out of its housing from the top but the bottom will not move. Is there a way to remove the starter without cutting it

Hi 82lude,

Some of the earlier models have the lower bolt with a nut at the other end. If that is the case, you would need to remove the nut from behind the engine block to enable the starter to be removed.
