Squeeky noise

I have a 2003 Honda Pilot awd with the 3.5l v6. It has 51,000 on it. I recently had the brakes done and about 2,000 now it has started to make a intermittant low pitched squeeking noise when I stop. It sounds similar to the sound a wheel makes if the lugs are loose. I checked that first but they are all tight. The sound is very faint until I have driven and the car warms up and gets progressively louder. If I slow down without braking, using the transmission the sound is not there.

Are you stating that the brakes were done about 2000 miles ago or it cost you $2000? The noise you hear as you have determined is brake related. I don't know whether you installed the brakes or not but I ask to whether they only make the noise in forward or does it also do it in reverse?

There is a small metal indicator on the brakes that tells when they are in need of replacement. I would check the brakes again to see that is wasn't bent forward and is touching the rotor. Could be one wheel. I am assuming that you did a complete brake replacement front and back, right?
