2004 Honda Pilot 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic

When I turn on the ac as I increase the temperature to higher it is making a noise loud noise. It works ac and heater. But its making a noise. Do you know what that would be?

Where is the noise coming from? Engine compartment or interior?
What type of noise? Can you describe it ior make comparison?
