The brake caliper tube burst and a bad grinding sound was coming from my wheel. I had a new Caliper, Rotor and Break pads installed. There is still a metal on metal rub sound coming from rotor and it is wearing like it is warped, but it is brand new (out of the box yesterday). There is wear showing on one half of the rotor. Could it be the rotor was installed incorrectly or maybe a bad bearing is causing it to rub?

have new rotor checked for warpage, new rotors can be warped!!!!

also if lug nuts wernt torqued proper order and proper values it could warp the rotor.

so can improper angles on cv joints and a bad bearing.
