Sometimes the speedometer of my 98 Honda Passport doesn't work. It just drops to 0 and meanwhile, the odometer stops working. After driving a while, they go back to normal again. The mechanic changed the vehicle speed sensor for me but the problem persists.

Hi there,

If the speed sensor has been changed, you will have to get the speedo head checked and also the relevant loom plugs.

Will this cost a lot to fix it? Thank you.

Hi there,

This will depend on what is wrong, you my be better of trying a second hand cluster first to see if it rectifies the problem.
