JUST BOUGHT THIS CAR FOR MY SON. GUY I BOUGHT IT FROM HAD PREVIOUS PROBLEM WITH A LITTLE OIL AROUND PLUGS SO HE CHANGED THE SEAL BETWEEN THE COIL AND THE VALVE COVER AND IT QUIT GIVING HIM PROBLEMS. I DROVE IT FOR APPROXIMATELY 100 MILES TOTAL AND IT STARTED TO MISFIRE & ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, ENGINE TEMP. WAS NORMAL AND NO OTHER OBVIOUS PROBLEMS. AFTER LETTING IT SIT OVER NIGHT I PULLED THE COIL PACKS AND NOTICED A SMALL AMOUNT OF RADIATOR FLUID AROUND THE FRONT PASS. SIDE PLUG AND THE CENTER DRIVER SIDE PLUG. CHECKED THE OIL AND HAD NO SIGNS OF WATER IN THE OIL ALSO CHECKED EXHAUST AND IT WAS DRY. COULD THERE BE A HOSE LEAKING ONTO THE VALVE COVERS AND GETTING DOWN UNDER THE COILS OR IS IT SOMETHING MORE SINISTER?

Hi ALAN,

Did you get a scan done to find out what error was recorded?

A pressure test would determine if there is any external leakages which I suspect is the cause. Was there any coolant loss from the radiator?
