I bought the car four years ago. The AC was poor and quickly got worse. I've had the same problem each year. Several places all say the same thing. Can' find a leak. They put freon in and it lasts about a month. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi marilynq,

If the gas keeps disappearing, there definitely must be a leak somewhere.

Most probably the shops that you went to did not do a thorough test.

The part that is most likely to cause the problem is the evaporator and most difficult to test without removing anything.

Do some visual self inspection first on other components. If there is any leakage, there would be oil stains, so look at all the AC components and joints and find for oil stains.
