Recently, I repaired many components on my vehicle. No, the accelerator behaves like you must press the pedal harder in order for the car to move. However, once you press harder - the car takes off and behaves like it is driving itself. What should I do about this? This appears to be very dangerous!

Check the throttle linkages and cable for sticking and obstructions.
