1994 Honda Passport trans light

When trans get hot the transmission light comes on and i have to shift manually. I can shut off the engine and restart it and it is fine for a while. Can anyone tell me how to fix it?

Hi rockyz1961, You need to get the DTC to find out what us wrong with the TCM or its sensors.

See which applies to your vehicle. Bridge the diagnostic connector and turn on the ignition switch. Count the flashing of the Check TCM light and post here.
