1995 Other Honda Models exhaust temperature warning light

i have a honda integra dc2 and when i accelerate with the engine at operating temperature the exhaust temperature warning light comes on,then i ease of the accelerator and the light goes off this light usually comes on when above 3000rpm is this a fault please help!!!!!!!!

Looks like your engine must be running too rich at that rpm or one cylinder is misfiring.
