Brakes problem
1988 Other Honda Models Front Wheel Drive Automatic 150000 miles

While drving at 50 km the brakes come on automaticly and engine chances down. when totally stopped the wheels are locked for short period. after waiting for 8 to 10 minutes car will start and operates as if nothing has happened. problem may occur again 2 days later

Hi there,

When the brakes lock on, what is the brake pedal feeling like? is it hard, Harder than when you would first apply the brakes. How many notches is the hand brake coming up? is it less with the brakes locked up. Is there any indication if it is all the brakes, front or rear or just one brake locking up (that's a bit hard i know) but it would help a lot.
