squeeky sound

my van its a 99 and it has 140000 miles not 120.
i think the sound its coming from the brakes it has been doing that for like 8 months. they once told me that it was the emergency brake that was touch something.

Well if the emergency / Parking brake its a rear brake sound..
What can`t understand its, why the mechanic didn`t fixed?

Did you explain that to him?

That`s a lot of time! its the sound loud?
I mean its noticeable from outside?
that way you can ask to somebody "hear" where the sound exactly come from and pin point the problem..

yes it is loud you can hear it from outside and sometimes it may not even do it
