While I turn at slow speeds, such as in a parking lot, I hear a whirring/whining type sound. My power steering fluid is full. Could this be an undersized pump? I'm not sure what to do. What do you think?

I have the same problem on my 2005 Odyssey. I had the first pump replaced in Aug. '07, and now it is making the same noise again. I have to bring it in soon. It's worse when it is cold out. These parts seem to have problems according to things I have read. I would demand an extended warranty on this part if you get it replaced.

I have the same car and also encounter the problem. When it is on low speed and turn it has this problem. I turn out that is the defect power steering reservoir;

Took the car back and talk to nicely to the dealer and a free fix. Need to find a nice guy to talk with at the first place.

Have a great one, hope that help.

Thanks,
Mav
