My sound on my radio went out, I smelled burning one day and there was static in the speakers for about two days, then the sound just stopped. The dealer says I need a new radio, but it still comes on but there is no sound. What could be the problem?

There's a internal circuit problem in the radio, you could have them remove the radio and send it out for repair, if you get a new oem radio it will cost alot.
Or you could replace it with an aftermarket radio.
