2004 Honda Odyssey No Power and can't shift from Park to Ne

We got up the morning and it appears the van battery is dead. I was going to push the van out of the garage to jumpstart it, but for some reason (even with the key turned) I can't shift it from Park to Neutral. Is there some kind of security system that locks everything up? Any ideas?

Hi gthawkster,

When the battery is dead, the interlock is unable to release so you need to manually release it by inserting a key into the slot near the gear shift.
