2003 Honda Odyssey Rear Door Doesn't Open

You recently provided guidance to anothers problem w/the rear latch by saying "just pop off the rear door panel". Well, because I cannot open the door, I cannot get to the 2 screws on the bottom holding to panel in place. Is there a trick to getting to these screws?

Good question! I fixed my rear door latch back in May and had the same problem. What I found that worked was to remove as many panel screws as you can with the door closed, then bend the panel back and stick your hand in the door and pull up on the rod that controls the latch. It took some trial and error but this worked for me.
