2001 Honda Odyssey noise

My car recently started making unsual noise .
It is coming from the undreneath of the car.
I looked at it while I was pressing the accelerator with my hand and smoke was coming out from the exhaust pipe , or from the catalytic converter .
If you can guide me please .
