I have 2000 Honda Odyssey LX.
During last week the following behavior appeared: I step on the gas and the RPM's go up, but the car doesn't respond. I had to release the accelarator and try again. It happens on freeway and in the city. In the city I had to turn off the car and turn it on in order to drive. Computer at the mechanic shop did not show any faults.

Hi lanakst

Symptoms described is from the trans, it is not engaging/slipping.

There is a possibility the oil level is low or oil strainer in the trans is clogged. Check oil level and condition first.

If no DTC can be retrieved, you need to carry out line pressurre testing.
