2000 Honda Odyssey HOOD LATCH

I hit a low concrete barrier going approx.10 mph. Afterward the hood won't close at the sides and seems to be hitting the latching mechanism (the part that is mounted on the body, not the hood it's self), as though the latch has moved up about 3/4 of an inch. There isn't any obvious damage to the surrounding braces. Is that latch height adjustable?

Hi mrgray,

The latch is adjustable but the movement is limited.

You need to check the lower portion of the cross panel for misalgnment due to the impact. It could have been pushed upwards by the impact.
