2000 Honda Odyssey EGR

there was a recall on the EGR valve for this vehicle. Is it just a matter of cleaning the valve. Also my vehicle failed the MD emmissions test giving the following codes
P1491
P0420
P0401
Do you beleive I need to replace the catalyic converter?

For DTC P1491 and P0401-need to clean the EGR port in the intake manifold and replace the EGR valve
For DTC P0420- The catalytic converter has deteriorated, need to replace the catalytic converter
