2000 Honda Odyssey broken wire on ciggarette lighter

Trying to fix broken ciggarette lighter. the black wire has broken away from black plug. I tried pushing the clip inside blk plug out to re attach wire but failed. what is the best way to fix the problem.

Thank you for the donation.

Remove the broken terminal from the connector. If the other end has a white or other colored piece in the center, use a sharp object to pry it out. You would see a locking tab inside. Pry the locking tab away and push the old terminal out.

Get a new terminal to clamp onto the broken wire and push it back into the connector. Reinstall the locking piece and you are good to go.
