The front engine mount was replaced @ 90000
The side engine mount was replaced @ 95000
and now the Honda repair says the rear engine mount is broken.

The car was bought new and body is in good shape
Tires are good. Timing belt & battery was replaced
@ 95000 and new brakes @ 100000.

Q: Should I have the engine mount replaced or should I trade on a newer used model?

and
Q: how long can I drive w/ broken engine mount?

Thank you

Hi bustoid,

The engine mount is not a major item and replacing it is more viable than replacing the vehicle.

You can still drive the vehicle without any problem if the mount is bad. The only problem you would feel is excessive vibration when idling or stopped. If the mount gets very bad, you might have jerks when engaging gears or accelerating. Worse case would be knocking when the jerk occurs.
