My check engine light came on I brought to pepboys to get code pulled the code that was pulled was p0401 what does that code mean.I did recently changed the spark plugs about 2 weeks before and then the code showed up what should I do what is the part or pights that might have to be replaced

That is an emissions code that means "Insufficient flow through the EGR valve" This can be a bad valve, plugged passage, bad solenoid or position sensor. Since this is an electric valve and everything is pretty much self contained in the valve, the problem is pretty much limited to the valve or the passage.

I did replace the egr valve and tried to clean out whatever I could reach in the egr hole the same code came beack any ideas on what to do next please let me know thanks
