I thought at first my air conditioning had a problem, but it is the entire panel of heat/air. When it goes off, nothing works. Then it will come back on just as fast as it went off. It will go for long periods of time, and intermittantly will go off and back on. The lights and function both go off.

I work on computers and this would be a wiring issue with a computer, not a switch. Any idea what might cause this in my car?

Hi moglo07,

Since problem is so short lived, it would not be easy to diagnose.

It could be the control panel that has a faulty solder somewhere causing power supply or grounding circuits to intermittently fails.

I would suggest removing the control panel to check the wire connectors and pcb.
