I have a 99 Honda Oddessy that I cleaned the battery cables on, and now it won't start and sets off the alarm system. How do I reset the security system?

There are a few used systems for the model and you can try this to see if it works.

Close all doors, hood and trunk. Use key to lock and unlock vehicle. That should disarm the security system. If it does not work, check for blown fuses in underhood fuse box.
