the oil light on my 97 honda odyssey comes off and on and i have checked the oil and it is ok...?...

If the oil light is flickering, there are a few possibilities:

1. Faulty switch.
2. Low oil level.
3. Clogged oil strainer.
4. Bad oil pump.
